Greentech

When scalability is key

In green technology, new technologies emerge all the time, changing our world one industry at a time.  Back in the seventies, wind energy was a brand new technology with the need for the invention of components that had never been made before - such as wings, nacelles, and all the hundreds of other parts that make up a wind turbine. All of this was initially invented in small machine shops, but as the industry grew to a global mega-business, production had to be ramped up along with it.

The same is true for today's emerging green technologies - be it wave energy, energy storage, agricultural innovations, new and greener engines for ships and aircraft, and so forth.

When new technologies are being developed, individually machined parts are often made to specs in very small quantities. Once the technology matures, partners are needed that have the ability to grow with the production - sometimes, ramp-up can be a matter of going from a production of a few dozen identical components to serial production of thousands of components in a very short space of time.

This has always been one of our core skills: Scalability of production of machined components with a high degree of repeatability and complexity.

Growing with the customer

Greentech is often characterized by having the need for components with fine tolerances that have never been made before. At Multicut, we are experts in helping you optimize the components in terms of ease of manufacturing. We do this by applying our profound knowledge of the design of fixtures and tools that reduce the machining time to an absolute minimum. Our production capacity is specifically designed to grow with your needs - quickly. When you partner with us, you will find out what it means to have a supplier with the will and the power to invest in growth.

Power-to-X or X-to-Power?

Power-to-X or PtX is increasingly taking over the Greentech industry and understandably so. With PtX-technologies, we can completely transform the way we produce, store, and consume energy and eventually improve energy-intensive industries as we know them.

It’s all about utilizing the best things we know from Greentech with the progressing technologies that we have access to today. By using the PtX technologies, fuels, chemicals, and materials can be produced based on green hydrogen made from electrolysis.

Multicut is heavily investing time and effort into innovating the shipping, air traffic, and transportation sector by enabling the consumption of green fuels.
